One in custody for narcotics and another wanted

Whiteville, NC – Columbus County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) Vice-Narcotics Unit gathered information concerning the distribution of marijuana and ecstasy in Whiteville and surrounding communities in Columbus County.  As a result, an investigation was initiated.  During the investigation, an undercover operative purchased narcotics from one of the residents of 92 Fairfield Drive East in Whiteville. 

On July 25, 2018, CCSO Vice-Narcotics Detectives executed a search warrant at 92 Fairfield Drive.  During the search, Vice-Narcotics Detectives located 415 grams of marijuana, various dosage units totaling 12 grams of MDMA (ecstasy), along with approximately $2000.00 in cash.

Following the search warrant, Chrystal Adeline Soles was taken into custody and charged for the above crimes. She is being held on a $20,000.00 Secured Bond. Her boyfriend, Sandy Alexander Nealy, is wanted for felony charges related to this investigation.  Mr. Nealy is a 36 year old black male.  He is approximately six feet tall and weighs 160 pounds.  If you know where Mr. Nealy is located, please contact Columbus County Sheriff’s Office at (910) 642-6551.   

Charges:

  • 1 felony count of Possession with the Intent to Manufacture, Sell, and Deliver MDA/MDMA
  • 1 felony count of Possession with the Intent to Sell and Deliver Marijuana
  • 1 felony count of Maintaining a Dwelling to Keep a Controlled Substance
