Hallsboro, NC – The Columbus County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) Vice-Narcotics Investigators arrested one individual, Jamal Devon Bryant, 33, as the result of an investigation.
During the investigation, CCSO Vice-Narcotics Investigators completed multiple undercover purchases of crack cocaine from Bryant at his residence on Red Bug Road in Hallsboro. On July 3rd, a search warrant was executed at Bryant’s residence. Bryant was home during the execution of the search warrant. During the search of the property, CCSO Vice-Narcotics Investigators seized two (2) assault rifles, an amount of crack cocaine, digital scales, and a large amount of cash. Bryant had a handgun and methylenedioxypyrovalerone concealed on his person. Bryant is a convicted felon on probation. Bryant was arrested and charged with five (5) counts of Sell/Deliver Cocaine, six (6) counts of Possession with the Intent to Sell/Deliver Cocaine, six (6) counts of Maintaining a Dwelling to Keep/Sell a Controlled Substance, one (1) count of Possession with the Intent to Sell/Deliver MDPV, one (1) count of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and one (1) count of Possession of a Firearm by a Felon. After his arrest, Bryant was served with two (2) Probation Violations. Bryant received a $325,000.00 secured bond.
